Thomas A. Schallert

Northern California Community Blood Bank
Since 1990, Thomas Schallert has served as the administrator of the Northern California Community Blood Bank in Eureka, Calif. He began working in blood banking as a field representative/donor recruiter at the American Red Cross Blood Services in Los Angeles and also worked at Broward Community Blood Center in Lauderhill, Fla.Mr. Schallert is the current president of America's Blood Centers (ABC). He is a former vice president and treasurer of ABC and a past chair of ABC's Group Services committee. He is a past president of the Blood Centers of California (BCC), and the California Blood Bank Society (CBBS). Mr. Schallert has been involved in numerous committees for ABC, BCC, and CBBS, as well as within his local community.
